Exploration Underway at Cree Lake, and Beartooth Island in the Athabasca Basin
Ditem Explorations has commenced geophysical data acquisition on its two exploration blocks in the uranium rich Athabasca Basin of Northern Saskatchewan.
At Cree Lake, we have contracted Geotech of Aurora, Ontario to conduct a high-res airborne V-TEM survey over the 83,070 Ha block. in order to map the occurrence of Athabaska group sediments in the area. The survey is underway and we expect that the results will be delivered early enough for us to plan further work in the spring, on those areas of the block that are lake covered. We are considering the deployment of a shallow seismic, sub-bottom profiler in order to accomplish this.
At Beartooth Island : the final results of las August`s MEGATEM survey have been received and will be combined with the MT logger survey that is underway, in order to define targets for this summer`s drilling program. As at Cree lake, the deployment of a shallow marine seismic spread
is being considered.
